Here is my problem:

core system with blaster ck3 installed. Virgin liteon 74850c. windows 7 x86 (or vista)

I cannot get jungle flasher to recognize my drive! I am using USB (thru my blaster, with the xbox on). I properly installed the usb drivers, and I see it on my com ports (although for type it says USB and not xecuter or anything.. not sure if that makes a difference). When I cycle thru the I/O ports I see other things like, dvd drives, hds, etc.. but I do not see the liteon anywhere. I have tried also using serial and many other USB ports. All with no luck. I am just not sure what could be causing this to not pop up. The one thing I want to be clear with is when you are using a blaster with a liteon 74850 I *just* have to use usb (or serial) right? There is no need to hook up sata anywhere except in the 360. Any help with this would be really appreciated. I am beginning to get real frustrated!

Oh, and I am using latest versions of everything (jungleflasher, etc)
Thanks again.

John

Re: Open tray error.

Not a Solution Yet Ive been experiencing the same Problem so today I seen this and tried for the flashing my 3rd system (ive done 3 successfully and 3 open tray error), i unplugged the ribbon cable soldering i couldnt get the Switch in Perfectly so i pulled it out and reconnected my traces and same thing "open tray" i never ever got to the flashing part yet i put it back in jungle flasher and drive properties are displayed

during trying to get the chip in i did push eject and the try shot out violently and there was a time i turned my CK3 on and the drive HUMMED... i cant wait till we fiqure this problem....i have 3 93450c's displaying "open tray"
