Yeah it's not complicated at all, at least not with these great tutorials. And besides the soldering, it doesn't requires any special skill at all.
The hardest part was remembering all the steps, because it's quite uncomfortable and hard to browse the internet with one hand while you're holding the probe with the other, especially when you're sitting on the floor beneath your computer. And yeah, I actually ended up doing that, because I was too afraid of letting the probe off the points after I started the procedure
But eventually I found out that it didn't do any harm (as far as I could tell), and after I paused and tried again it went just fine.
By the way, what would the symptoms be (if any), if my solders went loose or somehow bad? From what I've read, when you're flashing you'd see some bad lights on the LT Switch, or JF not being able to read/flash. But would I notice it now anyhow when my drive's being used in the xbox?
