so its a preflashed liteon? if so you need to hit dummy from iextreme. this will drop your key for youand then autoload your required firmware. then hit liteon erase and write. outro the drive and your done. its that simple. have you been trying to probe a preflashed drive?if youd read the jf tut youd know all this already.

I just wanted to tell you that I recently successfully flashed my Liteon 74850c :D

I used the CK3 Probe II, first in v1 mode to read the key, and then out of curiosity I did the full MRA dump using v2 mode (also: key x2 = safer!).

I had some problems when doing the MRA dump due to me timing wrong and pressing the switches in the wrong order, but I eventually got it right. My solders unfortunately became really ugly, however they got verified by my Fluke multimeter so I'll pray they stay that way

For the record; I used this guide along with this MRA dump tutorial, and a video guide (which I cant find right now) from this site/forum, and also the JungleFlasher tutorial.

Anyway, thank you for this great community and Team Xecuters awesome products!

Yeah it's not complicated at all, at least not with these great tutorials. And besides the soldering, it doesn't requires any special skill at all.

The hardest part was remembering all the steps, because it's quite uncomfortable and hard to browse the internet with one hand while you're holding the probe with the other, especially when you're sitting on the floor beneath your computer. And yeah, I actually ended up doing that, because I was too afraid of letting the probe off the points after I started the procedure :D
But eventually I found out that it didn't do any harm (as far as I could tell), and after I paused and tried again it went just fine.

By the way, what would the symptoms be (if any), if my solders went loose or somehow bad? From what I've read, when you're flashing you'd see some bad lights on the LT Switch, or JF not being able to read/flash. But would I notice it now anyhow when my drive's being used in the xbox?
