heres my story. i have an old clunker cpu running windows XP with a VIA 6421 chipset using a ck3 mini. its your typical erase then cpu freezes up story. so i have removed the vmsraid file as per jf tutorial and rebooted, jf cant see the drive. i tried different drivers for the card and same ending, no drive in jf. the via ports checked and un checked, same with ide ports give the same result. no drive. i do know the port on the card and i never see it with the driver uninstalled.
using dosflash with the driver uninstalled i can see the drive but the write or erase options at the bottom of the window is greyed out and cant click on it. also tried iprep but cant get it to boot from usb. i setup my bios to boot from removable drive didnt boot. i burnt a cd thinking that might help it boot....nope. i have flashed and spoofed other models without a hitch.....its just the lite ons and i have two of them right now :s i ve spent days trying to get anything to work but nothing has worked....please need pro's help here.
Thery are going into rgh consoles, one pre 13*** dash and one post. and the drives did work before the erase. Thanks in advance. and i know there are many post about this but i havnt had any success with any of them.
