I have a 16D4S that I attemted to kamikaze. I got the unlocked 0x00 status, and into'd it to make sure it wasn't a false unlock. Well when I intro'd it again, it no longer will give me the unlocked status. I tried the rubbing alcohol trick and still no luck. I cant find the original JF log put here is the last one....
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Did you slimkey the drive before you started the kamikaze on it, if not I'd strongly suggest that you do that before you go on drilling any further,or do anything else.Once you have all your necessary files from slim key, close down Jungleflasher, then start the whole procedure over again, first try the unlock using isopropyl,if that fails try unlocking with electric lighter, and as a last ditch attempt CAREFULLY redrill VERY SLOWLY at your point,it should unlock (if your point is spot on).then follow prompts in JF pdf

I can't see anything in that log that tells me the SPI was unlocked.

Did you hear the "beep" in JungleFlasher to tell you that the SPI was unlocked?

Update the firmware on your X360USB Pro before you do anything else (this probably won't matter, but it helps if everything is updated).

Thanks for your response,
Yes I slim keyed it before starting. I have started the whole process again with no luck. Im not sure what the electric lighter trick is, but I took a regular lighter and created a spark, but still no luck. I will post my new JF log and thanks again

Yes on the initial try I slim keyed the console, proceeded as normal, heard the beep, but when I re-intro'd it to make sure it wasn't a false unlock, it returned with the 0x8c status and now will not unlock. Im posting my last JF log. I have searched for the x360usb pro update but im coming up empty. I man be on the latest but not sure. Thanks again for your help.

All I see in your log is that you are sending unlock command and then outroing the drive after that ,it doesn't show that the spi register has been successfully unlocked ,also if you get a succesful unlock ,theres no need to re intro the drive just click on read to dump ofw, could you possibly post a pic where you've drilled?

if the drive is still ejecting normally i would try the drill again slowly.

you have got a false positive beep from JF most likely as your spi would defo be inlocked.

and forget the electric lighter trick, all you need is a q-tip (cotton bud) and some nail polish remover or similar alcohol based fluid.

dip the q tip, remove excess and rub onto hole it will unlock it.

but you havent even unlocked it yet!!

Thats the problem, it won't unlock, I just keep getting the dots and no beep, and I don't want to keep drilling
Well dont drill then, get a unlocked pcb if you are to scarred to drill any further.

Have you measured to make sure you drill at the right place? Also the hole looks a lot to big imo, wha do you use to drill?

I agree hole is too big,are you using a drill bit or exacto knife ,how did you do the pin count,I see no markings or are you using a template?

I have the teamplate, lol and it LOOKS to big because I was going to start re drilling but decided NOT to continue, it's just a hair beneath the surface because I stopped, so im sure that, that is not the issue but thanks for the help & suggestions your giving.

I personally would continue with a 0.08 drill bit (to each his own) and yes drill very slowly ,i'll be keeping fingers crossed for you ;) .the template is usually spot on ,but you have to make sure the drill bit is correctly centered ie.not moving from side to side with every rotation , that could be the reason why your hole is to big. ( that last sentence just doesn't seem right on so many levels)
