Liteon DG-16D4S 0401 freezes on Block 0 Verifying PCM Board

Hello,

I have a Liteon DG-16D4S 0401 with the PCM board from XT and every single time I flash it, it fails on verifiying at Block 0 every single time.

Also it freezes when trying to lock the drive also after the flash.

Any ideas?

Switch the mode to "Fat" (under the "Intro/Device ID button)

Using a USB Pro v1 up to date, CK3i also up to date drivers for both. Windows 7 Ultimate, and did have issues with other PCM board so wondering why now.

Does JF recognize the PCB as DG-16D4S after flashing?If not, check the MPX01 point. It should be connected to 3.3v through 10 KOhm resistor. Also, resistance between MPX01 and GND mustn't be small

yes it reconizes it after flashing. It will read a game fine and play BUT the games freeze after 5-20 min burnt and around 1h retail constantly. Have flushed the cache and such and is a 4GB corna. This is a friends box I did and not sure why its doing this.

Yes I did test it. I have 3 dumps all pass 100 percent. Also I have the original board also still.

One thing I forgot when I moded it I forgot to update the box first and it rate after I had modded it. Would this be the cause? If so steps to fix?

So you ran the console for over an hour before you started?

Have you since replaced the old PCB and made sure the issues are not DVD related?

Going to put the old PCB back in now as had to go get more solder etc hense delay on reply and try. The box itself is used alot and has been on over a hour when i did but froze within 20 min of running everytime.
