LITEON 0225 Liteon DG-16D4S PCB Trace Cut Ruined

hi guys.

ok so i needed a slim PCB and got one from a friend in a box of crap parts (free so cant complain) where the trace had to be cut to read the FW, this has totally been burnt away so trying to fix the trace for live safe is impossible. ive never done this before so if its wrong dont laugh. could i put a piece of kynar from the 2 points (see pic) to repair this and make it ok if i wanted to go on live?

the board does work and i can read and write FW to it and i have locked the board, its just how to repair this trace.

any tips would be great.

its bad!! but like i said if i can get free parts and repair them then im happy if its to bad to repair then ill keep the drive offline and just buy another.

ill try and get rid of the crap with a scratch pen and take another pic.

Yeah you can do that or just stick a blob of solder over that pad and the one below it.

i did try a blob but could not get it to stick, if i can just put kynar on the 2 points then ill just do that. does not look as bad now its cleaned up a little.

he must do! ive heard nothing but good things wih his repairs. i may call on his services when im back from hoilday to do a NAND repair. (another FREE board from the crap box

You just need to connect the yellow bit to the red bit, clean tip and flux with a bit or kynar like you said and you should be sweet.
