Hi everyone, this is my first post so please be gentle with me :)

I have an xbox360 slim 1071 fw and am wanting to add a X360Dock module 1. Managed to get running fine on my old Hitachi 47 but cannot get my. PC to find the 1071 drive!

I've read loads of different posts on several forums etc and most seem to make use of either an unlock PCB or X360USB Pro (or both), but all seem to be with the view to flash the firmware.

As I don't need to flash and only need to extract the key, do I need the above kit to achieve my goal? If I do then c'est last vie - if not can someone please point me in the direction of a good tutorial that I can follow?

Many thanks in advance, and apologies for the lengthy post!! :)

Sure a xusbpro would be needed. Onboard SATA might be supported but it is a pain in the ass. I haven't had a 1071 come my way but 0225 I could never get my VIA or onboard to detect it so I bought usbpro.

In your Nand
Get x360USB Pro to extract your drive key. Then follow the guide for your ode, this site does support ode but rather the infamous RGH/Jtag. Goodluck ;)
