I have ordered one of the above but have a question about it.
Once fitted do i have to flash to stock first and lock
or can it be programmed with lt+ first.
also when i come to reflash the drive with ne firmware how do i unlock do i fit the sputnik switch?
i have asked these as i can find answers when searching.

when i got mine i just flashed lt2.0 and my key to it locked it and played works well
i did not think u had to sputnik switch as u can control wp with a switch

i saw a pic on here of the switch but on all other pics you cant see switch, thanks for the reply as i am hoping for it to arrived shortly.

Just update our console with original PCB then read dummy.bin (keep it safe it's important) then flash TX PCB with LT+v2.0 and lock the PCB.

When it comes to flashing again you just need to load dummy.bin into source, ress unlock SPi and flick the switch on the TX PCB. Once unlocked you put the switch back into locked position and continue with flashing.

It's very simple and the tutorial explains all of the above in more detail. :cool2:

ok thanks, cant wait now as i tried the kam hack and had eject problem, tried to unlock again and think i have over don it hole aas when plug drive into ck3i the power led goes out, just waiting for the missus to start kickiung me for bustin her xbox.

Did you read the drive FW before you Kamikaz'd it :eek2:

yes got dummy 3 times and key file before the kami hack
to be honest the kamikaze hack worked but I had the eject fault after and read to out it a few times to fix so could not find my isopol to make conection and used drill and dent bit to deep now drive has no power
hoping new board will sort it out
