ANSWERED liteon drive qusetions

Hi ive had a search throught the forum but cant seem to find the answer im looking for .ive bought my son a xbox for his room and it has a liteon drive in it .ive update it to the latest dash 2.0.16747.0 then i flashed it with lt 3 it worked then it comes up with i need an updated so my question is .do i need to flash back to stock firmware then update the xbox online then flash it back to lt 3 or is it ok just to update online now.because i have another xbox with a hitachi drive which i can just update online .cheers

Does it say a new system update is required or does it mention something about security and program updates?

Hi its just says ...A system update is available from xbox live . if you decline you wont be able to to connect to xbox live until you take the update.cheers gav

the rule of thumb is to always revert back to stock firmware before applying any major update...do people break this rule all the time and get away with it...for sure!

To be on the safe side i reverted back to stock and updated all working fine now thanks guys
