LITEON 83850 v1 liteon failed mra now wont play games.

iv seen alot worse then that and fixed them and retived the key
it dosent look to bad to me but i aggree take all that
black crap off and clean up your soldering post another pic and we shall see
ok should i remove all the solder?

all i did was with the mra wsitch in the off position i clicked intro on the mtk32 tab and it returned with an error after about 2 min of loading that is all i did.

and once i have fixed the pcb if i can fix it can i extract the key without a ck3 or something like that because they are almost impossible to get here.

ok well if thats defo all you did im almost certain i can retive your key or hlep you retive it and yeas remove the wire you have soldered and cean your solder up so we can see the traces better but take your time and and dont rush when you panic you make more mistakes when you clean up your solder take car to leave it on the traces and not over laping to any other traces were you reveiled copper and re post pic

if you dont have a ck3 i think there is another way but i think it involves using your xbox 2 power the drive and making your own pogo thin moyo or what ever its name is
but i would advise that if push comes to shove the if you send me the pcb i will retive key for you for free you just pay postage ere and bk butt
i wanna see the drive when you cleaned it 1st please bud

to me that looks very fixable when you put it in the drive and put it in the xbox 360 you said it was saying play dvd was the drive responding when it was in the console ie opening and closing and spinning up trying to read ? n you didt hit the liteon erase button in jf DID YOU ?
yes that was after i put in the wire i had in it responded and would say play dvd and it played as if i put the disk into my pc.

it responds with the wire i put in
it spins up and is loud but im assuming that is because of the drive being open.
so is their any way i can extract the key do you think or maybe even fix this board

no diss respect to teajunkie as he is a brill guy but iv done loads of these and i mean loads im no rookie i used to go by the name 360ace on here and i built a bit of rep up for my sen by doing this and helping peeps in forums but my main board on my pc went and took my hdd with it and i used a program to gena rate passwords and it saveed them and filled them out for me but lost them all when old pc died but what im saying is please dont labe me as a noob coz im not donjt get me wrong iv made a few mistakes but you learn by them and that pcb is fixable no dissrespect to anyone
and i know my spelling may be abit off buy hey gimme a break lol

np and teajunkie is very good at what he dose i was just stating the fact that im not a rookie
but credit were its due teajunkie is the man
its verry difficult to get spare pcb's or anything that relates to xbox spares around here so that would cost me an excessive amount of time and money finding the pcb but its a good idea if i could i would.

Mate ima goin be honest with you now it won't cost you that much too a get a new 1 try ebay and put it lite on pcb and dey goo for unda a 10 pounds propa cheap and its more easier rather than you blowin sumat else in da process of fixing it and then it'll cause more poblems for u soo try ebay
im going to try someone local tomorrow and let you guys know as shiping cost here is not cheap and you get taxed on everything....if i dont come rite ill let you guys know and who knows maybe ill be able to find someone in my country who can fix these things.
Good luck finding 1 but before you doo dis fings you should read tut proply and dnt attemp if your a noob n gt no solderin skills
