ANSWERED Liteon firmware question.....

I bought a Liteon ihas324 B burner from ebay. The label on the back of the drive just says ihas324 B no other version number. I installed the drive on my pc....it shows up in my computer....and in xbbc just not in the dropdown box. However the start button in the read section is grayed out and the games read only 5.36 mb.

Any idea what the problem might be? Really a noob here guys.

You don't use a Lite-On iHAS burner for ripping discs, it is meant for burning them.

You need a BenQ or Lite-On drive flashed with 0800v3 firmware to rip your discs using XBOX Backup Creator.

If you mean the iHAS burner, then no.

You need to flash the 0800 firmware to an XBOX 360 DVD-ROM.
