LITEON 9504 Liteon laser pot tweak issue

Hi,

I recently had an issue where the pots on my laser (HOP-15xx G2R2). THe measurement for the laser was way below 3ohm and was told that the laser was bad. So I purchased a new laser from ebay.

I received the laser and the measurements on the pot was still low (1.8ohm). THe anti static is still on. Is it possible that the new laser is also bad? This does not seem possible to me.

I used 2 multimeters to make sure that they are good. I also tried measuring a resistor to put me to ease.

Any one experience this or knows why this ishappening?

THe anti static is still on.

De-solder it and install the laser, it should work fine.
