hi a mate has just brought a drive to swap, unfortunately im stuck and need some pros advice, his current drive is a liteon spoofed as a benq but wont load disks anymore, so he has gave me a new benq he has bought, my problem is im struggling to retrieve the key off the liteon spoofed as a benq any help appreiciated

You have to treat it as a Lite-on drive so follow the tutorial for the Lite-on :)

Then you can flash as a Benq without spoofing :)

Edit:- Basically what GS said....lol (Damn Keyboard racers...heheheh).

Yes if you originally flashed the drive you should have the Key/dummy.bin saved on your HDD :)

I agree I done a phat lite-on last night for a fella....and it took about ten attempts before it would finally go through.I usually don't have any trouble.

no i never flashed it origionally, got the same key from another 2 jf, so used the key loaded benq ofw as source and lt 1.91 benq as target, flash went ok but something gone wrong somewhere along the lines, just get play dvd insert this didk in an xbox360 kinda message

The first part probably means you used the wrong key :(

And the second part the answer is Yes you can use the probe3 on the MPX01 :)

Ok cheers sorry for been a pain how early a version of jf and will it still be phat key extract, I'm using ck3 pro, probe 3 and inboard pc Sata cable, thnx for all your help so far mate think I might just stick to plain simple normal drives in future!

sp4rkst4rt3r, thnx very much for all your help, i just been informed he bought it off ebay listed as a faulty drive and bought a new drive to go in it, now on 4 different jf i have had same key in log even though it fails saying it aint a liteon and when i flash the benq with the key i just get play dvd, so i think its rather not the actually key for the box im getting off the spoofed liteon or its the laser on the benq, gonna flash benq with 0800 and rip a game that will clear laser prob up i hope, if that works i can only think he been conned outta 30 quid on ebay and ill give him a tenner for the benq to rip games saves me opening my liteon up everytime i need a backup

If that is the case (Wrong Key for console) don't forget you can use the Reset Glitch Hack to retrieve his correct key and then you can flash drive to get a complete console....:)

This is assuming you have the correct motherboard....

You need the Nand-X and Coolrunner (when it's released) to read the key and revive the console...:)
