need help changing my liteon drive to new liteon any tutorials on how to do this , and do i leave my old liteon drive in xbox while spoofing or do i need the new one in to spoof then flash thanks in advance

Hi whuzz

You need to be more specific here. You want to swap what type of Liteon drives exactly (Phat: 74850C, 83850C, 83850C, 93450C, 02510C / Slim: 9504, 0225, 0401, 0272, 1071, 1214)?

I suggest a lengthy read of the jungleflasher guide as it's all detailed in there with regard to drive spoofing. If they are the same revision liteon drives then no spoofing needed, just bring over your original DVD drive key to your replacement.

Thanks they are both the same drives.... Phat: 74850C so i wont have to spoof , how will i change keys over ? will i still need to use jungle flasher & will i leave the old drive in xbox while changing the keys over

Just extract the key, using the tutorial, and when it says do you want to autoload firmware, press yes, so long as the firmware is in the firmware folder, it will do this.

Upto the extraction complete part

The turn the ck3 (power) OFF, disconnect drive, Hook up new drive, turn ck3 ON and refresh the drive properties, Drive should show up again, then carry on with the rest of the flash.

Or if you want to do it long way.

Extract Key from drive using the probe 3
do it a few times and save each in a different and safe place.
Exit JF and save jf log
Hook up new drive
and follow this guide

do you have the dummy file from your old drive.

yes i have the dummy.bin that will do wont it ?

thanks i forgot to mention the drive aye have is flashed and the new one i am putting in is flashed will that make a difference ?
