liteon wont connect to pc

hi guys

i flashed my drive to stock and then tried to update but got stuck in the update but that is not the problem now i tried to connect the drive to the xbox the light in the middle of the ring keeps flashing green and a black screen then i tried to connect to pc the computer wont read both hard disk and the liteon i have a native sata port guys please help .

ok i get stuck when the computer boots and i get this message
verfying DMI pool data
insert boot disk

BTW i set my boot to hard disk

what kind of drive? what are you using to power the drive? if it got stuck in the middle of the update, thats probably your problem.
oh, now i understand, your computer wont boot?. its stuck booting up probably because it recognized a hardware change. try clearing cmos
if you can get into bios, see if your drives are detected

i have a button in the back of my computer to clear cmos no use still as long as the liteon is connected my computer wont read my hard disk or the xbox dvd drive and i get Veryfing DMI pool data (disk boot failure) disk but when i disconnect the xbox dvd drive it boots normaly

your computer detects a hardware change, you can try to repair windows with a windows install cd, or try from bios to auto detect drives. i'm not an expert but i'm pretty sure thats your problem. try booting windows first then connecting your drive., maybe you'll get lucky and it willk install by itself or try booting your computer than connecting it with jf. if not, a format and fresh install of windows may be an option. wish i could be more of a help

majesstik my friend its ok you have done enough but am just afraid that i have bricked my drive ok another Q do you know why when i connect my drive to xbox the xbox wont open i get a black screen and the ring flashes green the led in the middle??

the green light in the middle is a drive issue. you said you got stuck updating the drive. thats probably why you get the error. you said you can boot your computer without the drive attached. try to retrieve your keys, and if you have access to another computer, flash your drive with the cfw. should fix your console,. as for your computer, i think you may need to repair windows or a new install. but dont sweat it, doubt your drive is bricked. looks like the drive is in between updates

have you tried what majesstik suggested at post #7 , restart PC with drive disconnected, connect liteon drive, start jf

yes i tried majestiks way but no use the wierd thing is even when i disconnect the harddisk computer and i go to bios the system doesnt detect the xbox dvd drive

ok a shot in the dark the ck3i modeb should be blue or red and the eject on or off plus i have a cd stuck inside the xbox dvd drive if case any of this info makes any diffrence.

did you look at that tutorial
basically flashing the drive again, clicking liteon erase , then write brings your drive back to life...as long as you have your key, and do it to the right drive,and have the right firmware there
i've had to do it once, about 12 months ago..it works

why not, that's up to you, but you will need to reburn any Ap2.5(including any XGD3) games you have
actually don't since you are on an old dash, just get your drive working first...which dash are you on
should be on latest dash for lt3.0
