k well i was banned from live cuz my dumbass brother didnt turn my chip off when he logged on, so how do i change my eeprom n serial numbers? and how do i get them off my friends box? i posted before the forum change and someone asked if i had mech assault yeah i do, but my friends box does not have a chip in it so any suggestions would help guys thanks L8

Go to the xbox-scene.com forums. They have a guy who sells good legit eeproms for people who messed up theirs and I beleive he also tells you how to use um (they only cost like 10 bucks).

Plus theres a whole forum for Xbox live problems.

Once you get your problem sorted out, boot to the x3 config live screen and make sure live protection is enabled. It will keep you from being able to access xbox live and tell you that your network settings arent correct.

By default it is enabled, so someone must have turned it off when installing and flashing the chip.

You can still get banned with the X3's protection on. If you're playing a game like Halo2 which has the XBL signin feature built in, you can still sign in through that ... getting banned once you do

Kai rocks. and it's a program that fools your xbox into thinking xboxes out there on the internet are actually system linked, soooooo anything that can system link can Kai.

kai is the best. FREE. XBConnect is kinda free.
i ALWAYS get kai to work good. XBC is another story.

and with kai, you can use avalaunch to find a match.
i just run the engine on my pc and sit on my ass on the couch and
find halo 2 matches all night.,
