You probably did, but thats in an older bios.

To get FTP access the universal way is to create a simple Evox Boot CD.

FTP could also be built into you chip [really depends on your chip though] you will have to check it's documentation.

Dont take this the wrong way but...

Go away and READ some Xbox BASICS tutorials, both here and at xbox-scene.com
What your asking is not X2CL releated, and to be honest if you didnt know what you needed to do BEFORE your modded your xbox, you should never have modded it in the first place.

We are here to help with major problems, but we are NOT going to take you through everything step by step, the info you need is readily available.

Once you have managed to realise that you only every FLASH the Bios to your chip, and then everything need's FTP'ing to your HDD. you will have a lot better understanding of what you need to do.

i am unable to find a tutorial of any help, i want to tranfer files to a x2.6 chip running the 5032 bios, i have tried ftp connections from the pc using the ip i specified on the xbox, the ip in the read me file, the username/pass (xbox xbox and x3 x3). i think the problem is that i need o put the xbox in a special mode for ftp tranfer as it is running the normal xbox dashboard, to do this it says to set the 5 switches to some order, but i only have 3 switches?. if you can answer this problem or give me a link to a tutorial it would help graitly but otherwise stop pointing out my stupidity. i have made an evox dashboard boot disk but the xbox rejects it, it also rejects the disk i tranferd the bios to the xbox on.

If you've already flashed 5032 and booting from it, then leave the switches alone.

Get a CD-RW and burn that ISO image I linked for you. Open Nero and select Recorder / Burn Image. Burn the ISO and try it. It may take a few attempts but it should load.

Now I'm really getting the impression you haven't a clue what an ISO file is.

I've already explained how to do it in my previous post:

"Open Nero and select Recorder / Burn Image."

You burn ISO files in exactly the same way, regardless of what they're for.

No excuse for this - search 'burn ISO' on Google....
