Locked upgraded hd Fragin

Hi guys I hope you can help me with this one,I add a second hd using power switch and in a couple back up games (that already own) it won boot up in the new hd with x3 an evox runing but I switch to the retail hd an it boots fine,so I figured that if I lock the new drive I will be able to boot with the M$ dash and maybe be able to play those games,but I lock the drive and start fraging red an green,and I just can't figure this one out in order to have as a main hd the new one and the retail to go to xblive,I will really apreciate your help, thanks.

Thaks guys for your help,I relly apreciate it those are great links and helpfull. I'm one HD at the time along with the dvd player and it works because I been playing. And when I lock the new drive and put it back to the box I don't get any dashboard at all, with the x3 enable I get error 6 whit a buch of others, and with the chip disable I get the multilanguage service stuff. Could it be possible tha the hd gets disable for some reazon even if unlockx.exe tells me that its lockable? Thanks again guys you rock!

Why are you not using the lock/unlock features of the chip (or even FlashBIOS)?

It can all be done without connecting the HDD to a PC. Do some reading.
