Locking HD question

Ok here's the deal.

I modded my xbox and removed the stock HD but didn't unlock it before removing it. I replaced it with a 120GB and it is still unlocked. Before I lock the 120 GB, should I put the stock HD back in, unlock it, then lock the 120? THe reason I am asking is that there is an unlock code in CL and I don't know if that applies to the stock HD or the new one.

Go ahead and lock the new drive. You can put the old one in anytime and unlock it.

besides technically you won't even nedd the stock HDD anymore as you must have made A back up on your P.C. and as far as I know you need to have it locked to get onto XBL.

Hey,
The X3 automatically backs up the xbox eeprom on first bootup. Get the hard drive key and a program called ATAPWD and unlock it on your PC.

I would definitely unlock it just in case you ever decide to us it in a pc, give it to a friend, use it in another xbox, etc....
You just never know.
