I second and third this idea. I really don't want to get banned, yet I would like to be able to use a custom logo.

93450C not reading! Help

I keep getting this error message when I try to read my firmware. I am using 20ohms

Manufacturer ID: 0xC2
Device ID: 0x11
Flash Name: MXIC(MX25L2005)
Flash Size: 262144 bytes

Getting Status from port 0xA400
Serial flash found with Status 0x72

Lite-On Dump file saved to C:\my document\JungleFlasher v0.1.69 Beta (75)\JungleFlasher v0.1.69 Beta (75)\Lite-OFW.bin
Loading firmware from buffer
Parse Failed !

I kept my dvd drive off. hit intro, then turn dvd drive on with ground. Then once I get the 0x72 I press read and it asks me to save and then it gives me this error after I save the file. I opened the file and it says corrupted with no Key.
I tried on 1.67B, 1.69B and dosflash 1.8 and they all are not reading my firmware. Please advise on what I can do to fix this. I have tried this a bunch of times.

Is this my motherboard? Using Nforce
could this be my resistor? using 20ohms

Re: 93450C not reading! Help

I'm having similar issues. However when I turn the drive on with the switch to 3.3v, the power led on the 360 flashes. JF only detects the drive when I turn the drive on with the switch set to GND.

I'm worried that I have bricked the drive.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue would greatly be appreciated.

check your soldering is good - use a multimeter if possible!
also ensure that you dont have any stray solder touching somewhere it shouldnt be

Re: 93450C not reading! Help

Thanks for the info. I went back over my solder joins and reflowed one of the joins and now it no longer flashing. Now my pc is freezing when I try to intro the drive which I think is being caused by my SATA chipset. My onboard is SiS which worked fine on my Hitachi drive however the Liteon drive seems to disagree with it.

Re: 93450C not reading! Help

Hey guys finally dumped the firmware. Took the 360 over to the old man's place and used his pc. Did it first go. Now I just have to spoof the IX firmware with the keys and then write to the drive? I don't have to erase??

Thanks

Re: 93450C not reading! Help

Hi there,
I recently tried to dump the key from my lite on 93450c.
I checked all the cuts with a multimeter and all was good.
I tried dumping in dosflash, but no luck.
I then decided to not flash my drive and fixed the traces again.
After installing it in my xbox, i get 3 red lights, error code 0021. and the dvd drive wil not open when pressing the eject button.
Please help me, what do i do know. is the drive permanently dead ?
can i still retrieve my drive key?

Re: 93450C not reading! Help

Check your soldering , This can happen when you bridge traces with solder . This has happened to me and after fixing bridge the drive worked as normal .
Try using a magnifying glass to have a good look as its not always easy to see with naked eye .

Re: 93450C not reading! Help

Hi Kakaboi, thnx for the reply. i did not solder the points, i used a conductive pen, to rebuild both traces, a(pad 101) and b. what are the odds that i bricked my drive? i will try to solder the points tonight.
So after repairing the solder, it worked perfectly for you? did you extract the key, cause i could not extract the key.
