As long as you're not making fun of all Maccas emplyeees thats alright.... my Mrs works at Maccas. Sure she's their Customer Relations Rep.... but all employees have to work the counter and make bigMac's even the owner does that! So don't be too generalising. anyway.. this Kid was in front of me making an order for a big mac meal. The guy serving must have been 35ish. The kid was being smart and starts talking down the the guy saying stuff like, Why don't you get a real Job mate! I bet you couldn't handle anything other than working at Macas!! and he starts laughing with his mate.
The guy behind the counter gets a tiny grin on his face. He reaches into his back pocket pulls out his wallet and hands the kid a business card. It has his name and picture and 2 other words that were significant. Owner. Manager.
The kid stops laughing. The guy picked up the meal that had not yet been paid for, put it behind the counter and says to the kid...Get out of my store now! //STORY
I love the Triple Thick Milkshakes....good stuff....but on other hand, Burger King has the awesome football commercials and Minute Maid Slushes.

We have Hungry Jacks here... its the same company. They tried to change the name to burger king and everybody stopped buying their food. They changed back to Hungry Jacks and business resumed.... I guess the consumer really does have power.
Please explain a tripple thick milkshake... never heard of it! Sounds good though.

If you take Italian meatballs that you buy from the Schwanes guy and cut them in half and put them on a bun after cooking them then throw some ketchup and pickles on it even some cheese if you want it and it tastes just like a McDonalds Hamburger, and its cheaper then one too, about 50 cents cheaper off the dollar menu.
That may be true Hellboy, but i don't know anyone who goes to mcdonald's just because they think it's cheap. They go because it's easy. You walk in you say, i want a cheeseburger, 15 seconds later your happily munching away.
Can't beat Macca's on speed, at least not around here anyway. (plus i get a nice discount because i'm a family member of staff... so there goes your theory about being cheaper too! HA!)
oh and Hellboy... try to keep control of //STORY next time... i've got enough trouble with my computer as it is without that thing running loose!

It's a Milkshake thats triple thick and comes in chocolate or vanilla, the vanilla tastes magical. Just not a fan of Chocolate. I'm addicted to Big Macs, love Mickey D's Big Macs.
I meant no offense at all. I hope you get where I'm coming from... I just feel that in most of the world your future is mainly determined by you. If you work hard and strive to succeed you will. Now, we have a family friend who owns 5 McDonalds in the New York area and she makes crazy money off of it. She started at the register at 15 just like you said. One of the most hard working, buisness savvy people I've met. (she now owns some other shops besides McDonald's) There is obviously some good money to be made if you work hard.
But I bet your wife can tell you a million and one stories of people, and I mean grown adults who... don't show for work, can't do simple tasks, can't take responsability for anything... those are the ones I'm talking about.
