Hi

My son installed the update that came with above game. I know this will have now flashed back to stock fw etc when installing 2.1477 whatever dashboard. Do I now need to just reflash with LT 3.0+ or do I need to somehow restore to a different stock fw before reflashing?

Thanks

(Know I need to reburn some games with AGBX 1.06 etc)

Just reflash lt 3 if everything working and your not geting update errors.

Just make sure you choose the right lt for your drive. Don't use lt for the 74 use the updated one.

Hi

Thanks for prompt response. Can you just clarify what you meant by not using version 3.0 + for LT but the "updated one". I was going to sue LT 3.0+ 0251 from the folder I downloaded from xbins for my drive. Is that right?

Did the Drive already have LT3 on it?. How do you know the drive got flashed back to stock...? that was with dash 13146 almost a year and a half ago, Were up dash 15774 with another one around the corner. It is safer to flash to stock to do dash updates. Did you get any update error...? unless you haven't played any new games in a year and a half than yea it got flashed back to stock.

Update

Dashboard is now 2.14717. Clearly it didn't flash drive back to stock as I can still play copies of my old games (Fall Out NV, Op Flashpoint Red River etc). This has always bugged me. I can understand the reason to flash back to stock before updating but if you run the update first, as in this case, would it not simultaneously flash back to stock anyway when installing the new dash? (I was on 12.13599)

I'll connect it to jf to see what cfw is but still confuses me.

Thanks again

Flash to stock, update dash to 15774, then flash back to LT+3.

Then no more worries about accidently updating untill a new Dash version comes out.
