RGH Looking for a guide to unban a Slim

but it is for a phat, and wanted to know if this applicable for a Slim? i just bought 2 slims, both banned, for a great deal. my goal is to unban them, and return one to stock to keep for online play for myself, and glitch the other.
i have yet to unban a console, so im looking for any advice. please dont hold back.

You cannot unban a slim. SOL.

I dont think you can unban a slim for use on live. As far as I know if you change the keyvault for an unbanned one it will fail some checksums on a retail nand so I dont think it's possible to unban a retail nand anymore on slims. The unban is used to avoid the old problems of game installs and hard drive crippling that used to occur and is used for glitched consoles. Having said that I don't know if it's of any use on slims as MS dont cripple the hard drive the same ways that they used to.

i have 3 kv's. i have 3 rlod consoles that i was able to reflow and work long enough to get the cpu keys. i actually still have them should i get into reballing.
does the drive have to match? from the donor to new console?

Just looked on Martin-c's unflag guide and when asked about unbanning with new keyvault he says

"No - the keyvault has a hash check which will fail once you encrypt with a new CPU key. "

So looks like my post is verified by Martin. He says the only way to unban is to transplant the nand cpu itself from an unbanned slim
