Hi, I am currently on OFW 5.0 and my emunand is also 5.0. I have a new physical game I want to play but it needs to be on a newer firmware. I actually have a couple of questions about updating the system firmware.
1) If i only upgrade the emunand, do the fuses still get burnt? I have read the guide regarding using the Choi app to update, but I think it may have been written prior to emunand's release.
2) Is the latest (firmware 8.1 i think) the best choice?
3) I think my system firwmare is clean, and I am half tempted to see if I can just upgrade by trying to connect to the nintendo eshop. Any thoughts on that? I appreciate any help with this. Thanks.
