:mad2::crazy:I have good experience with the electronics and such, but i need help to find out how to mod my 360. It is a Model 1439 250gb, Trinity Slim, Dvd drive is a LiteOn 0225. I want to be able to to play back ups off of an external hdd, or usb drive. I dont care what parts i need, i can get them, i just need to know what the parts are, and how to do the process of modding. I have a ps3 that i modded, and a wii, but this is a totally different ballgame. Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance.

You require a glitch chip (coolrunner, ace v1,2 or 3, x360run and the list goes on...), a device with which you can read your nand and program the chip (JR Programmer is inexpensive and does everything). Download JRunner, wire chip and nand reader to the board, read the cpu information, write Xell to the nand, extract keys, use them to decrypt and modify the nand, write back and you're done. JRunner does guide you step by step on everything you need to do once you've wired the chip and the reader.

Thank you. Sorry for my late reply. What modchip would you recommend? I was going to jailbreak my ps3 ss and would have had to buy a cobra ode, which would cost more than the console itself. i just sold it and got a console version that was software exploitable.

At this late stage in the game, if you cant find a CR4, I would suggest the ACEv2 with the S-RGH timing files. When doing S-RGH, I have had better luck using the CR4 SMC, but the S-RGH SMC will work also. If you cut the wires to size, and use the right timing file, you should be able to get instaglitch. On Phat consoles(Excepting Xenon's), I would suggest RGH1.2, or R-JTOP(Harder, as you have to tweak the timing, and compile the cpld code yourself,) which can be done with any off the shelf coolrunner, but that doesnt apply for this job. The Ace chip should cost you around $10, and with these timing files can compete with the CR4 for glitch timing. For the price it is totally worth it.
