i am using win 7 x64 and have read/written to my nand perfectly fine with nandpro v3Are you running win 7 x64 by any chance? I get the same issue on the machine.
Yea the thing is I also get the same problem as him with the cannot detect flash controller, is there any other way to confirm that its a problem with the setup on the PC and not a bad soldering job?i am using win 7 x64 and have read/written to my nand perfectly fine with nandpro v3
I used the QSB's and checked continuety between each channel for any bad solder joints. I think it's almost safe to say it isn't my soldering. I will post pictures soon enough. Is your soldering OK,a lot of emphasis is put on this being right,i.e no bridging etc
If it's showing in your device manager then I think it's the xbox not recognising the Nand X or a problem with the Nand X itselfBut its getting my computer to recognise the NAND X that's the problem.
What I will do is reflow all of the solder connections. Maybe there is a small underlying fault? Do you need to have the DVD drive connect when attempting to dump NAND?If it's showing in your device manager then I think it's the xbox not recognising the Nand X or a problem with the Nand X itself![]()
no you don't - just make sure power is connected to the boxDo you need to have the DVD drive connect when attempting to dump NAND?
That's what I thought.no you don't - just make sure power is connected to the box
