I had the same problem myself. Have you tried soldering without the QSB's?

when you say usb device, you mean your gunna take off the QSB?
if not, then you need a nand-x and the QSBs work with the nand-x

Try redoing the single point on the larger QSB. That typically causes some problems and is the trickiest point to get.

Not saying that it's the soldering buttttt..... 99% of the time it is with this sorta problem, just give resoldering it a try :) it's happened to me before, I thought it was soldered great but I was wrong, give it a go :)

Yes xbox has power...

I don't meter to read the voltage... not sure how I can test it.

Xbox still boots up, so I'm pretty there nothing wrong the xbox..

Guess I'll take apart know working xbox and see what happens.

to be honest the soldering looks bad, there's 2 solder points on the bigger board that look like they haven't flowed properly onto the existing points.

Did you pre-tin all the points? If not that's likely your issue as the MS solder used on Xbox mainboard needs higher temps to flow.
