Looking to buy a pre-owned xbox360

Hey guys, i am going to buy a pre-owned xbox 360 this week but i am not sure what manufacture code (not sure if thats what its called????) i should be looking for, so i will know that it has a hackable dvd-rom inside it...
The guy in the store said i can view all the codes, as well as check the condition, etc, etc and choose whichever one i wanted.
So my question is this, what code should i be looking for to ensure i get a hackable dvd-rom????

look through the hole in the front of the DVD drive that is visible when the faceplate has been removed.http://llamma.com/xbox360/Xbox_360_DVD_Drive_Comparison.htm will show u what u r looking for.
