Looking to flash a 2nd console...almost 2 years after I did the first one...

Hey everybody,

I flashed my first console back in January 2012, and am looking to flash another console. I bought the 360USB Pro and CK3i Mega Bundle, so I have the CK3i, Probe III, X360USB Pro and the CK3 XT Adapter already. My question is, if I go out and buy a new console, or a refurbished console from the local game stop, do I have all I need to flash? I know its based on the drive in the console, I just want to make sure things haven't changed so much since my last mod that I need new equipment. My first console was Liteon DG-16D2S 93450C, Thanks for your help.

You have all you need to flash a phat console, new or refurb. As for slim it depends on drive for 5s you need to rgh but not sure about other slims as only researched for the one I have lol someone else could help you out I'm sure

Correct above you have all you need for phats. For slims that have a 16D4S you have everything you need but you also need to have a pcb with an unlocked spi. You can unlock this yourself with a kamikaze unlock method or purchase an unlocked pcb. For 16D5S and Hitachi you will have to glitch the console to run xell to be able to retrieve your key.

I recommend you read the jungle flasher tutorial which has all this information.

Thanks to you both. Believe me, I bookmarked about a dozen tutorials, most were drive specific to my first flash. I appreciate the info, now I need to find a way to make sure the one I buy is phat... thanks

Hey guys, so I finally picked up my next "victim", popped it open as well as checked out the Dash version, so here is what I have:

Dash: 2.0.16537.0
LiteON DG-16D2S with 93450C

I was reading through the tutorial and it says that "IF YOUR DASHBOARD IS 2.0.13599 OR HIGHER THEN YOUR DRIVE IS NO LONGER A 93450C - IT HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A 02510C" so I click to follow that guide.

Is this the guide to follow, or is there something newer for this updated dash? The guide is over 2 years old, so I just wanna check to be sure, thanks!

Well if the new drive dash is higher than 13599, you have answered your own question. Your good to go

The process in the guide is still correct, but you need to use the latest firmware. The one suggested in the guide is an older version.
