Looking up to backup my save files.

I want to backup my save files from my Emunand.
what is the best way to do that?
and how would I restore them?
Is it possible through the SX homebrew applications or do I have to use another?

Checkpoint is kind of the standard but you can also use SX Installer or Edizon
