LITEON 74850 lost dvd key can i buy a new dvd drive and swap?

Hi think my post was deleted once again!! I lost my dvd drive key I believed i had a guy mod my xbox 360 awhile ago first mod and lost contact with him.. I modded my friends xbox 360 like 10 all with lt 1.91 and mine doesnt want to work.. all i can play is old games like forza and world at war.. what can i do to get my oringal drive key back?

no my xbox 360 is not jtagable..

Is it possible to buy a new exact dvd drive off ebay and reflash my xbox 360 start over again that way i get the key from the dvd? Im not sure thats why im posting this please reply back thanks

follow the above guide to get your key. As your drive is playing some games and not others, the key is fine. As already stated, it could be a laser/disc issue.

You cannot buy a drive and just replace like for like. You still need to retrieve the key. Once you have the key, you inject that key into the new drive which matches the key on the mobo. Hey presto jobs a good-en
