lost flash numerous times and cannot get any ones to work

do i ftp through flash fxp or do i need another program. im a noob when it comes to networking as well

so i have a crossover cable and im trying to connect to my pc. evrytime, flash fxp tell me that the connection times out. am i supposed to be in the microsoft dash, the evox dash, or the x3 config dash? and are there any other little tweeks that i need to be aware of?

Have you done any research or prior reading at all?
You can FTP to most hacked dashboards or X3 Config Live.
Username and password for X3 is: x3/x3

With a cross over cable you need to know how to set your PC's and the Xbox's IP address manually.

i ahve a general knowledge of networking. i learned enough to flash my xbox but that was by way of http. my error occurs when i try to use flash fxp to connect to my xbox
if you flash your xbox with network you should beable to ftp with it
use flashfxp
what your xbox ip in evox dash it will allso be in your settings
use xbox as password and user name
ftp useing x3config
ip at bottom of x3config screen
use x3 as password and user name

bigseeker, I am not sure what you are trying to do anymore, but we are going beyond the scope of X3 modchip flashing here.
The most basic FTP guide has been given to you which should be easiest enough to follow. The rest of the things you need to do can be found on Xbox-Scene guides.
If you need anymore help, please give more detail such as error messages and so on and people will try to help.
