Lost game save after update of SX OS, SX Dumper and FW! Help Me

Hi everyone guys! A big problem happened to me today ...
Initially I had the Switch with fw v6.2.0, SX OS v2.5.2 and SX Dumper v1.0.0.
I decided to update a little bit so I immediately replaced (without making any backups of the nand) the new file boot.dat (SX OS v2.6.1) and the new file SXDumper.nro (SX Dumper v2.0.0). Later I turned on the Switch, I checked that it worked and I continued by updating the FW v7.0.1 by making a nand backup using the SX OS menu ..
After the update I tried the Switch a bit and everything worked but when I started Super Mario Odyssey I noticed immediately that the rescue was gone and it started me from the beginning .. I checked the other games better and noticed that only the games that I had in physical version remained instead of the rest I have nothing left but luckily in XCI I had only Super Mario Odyssey ..
Now I tried to do a restore of the nand, bringing the FW to v6.2.0 but unfortunately it didn't recover anything from me .. so it makes me think that the loss of the data was before having backed up the nand and made the update of the FW and therefore the upgrade of the SX OS from v2.5.2 to v2.6.1 .. I also tried to put SX Dumper v1.0.0 but nothing different instead putting SX OS v2.5.2 (making therefore a downgrade) after the SX logo the black screen remains .. so I am forced to leave the most updated version 2.6.1
That said, I understand very well that it was recommended that I back up the nand before any operation, because if I did maybe all this wouldn't happen ..
So what can I do to recover the rescue? The rescues where they are stored? Can Checkpoint or SX Installer help me?
I ask not so much to recover the progress of Super Mario Odyssey but for the same operation that I should do on the Switch of my girlfriend and for the next updates that I would do later ..

Thanks a lot in advance to all of them they will dedicate a few minutes to help me! Happy Easter to all of you!! (y)

the saves are saved in the nand, it should not get deleted even if you updated the system firmware or sx os
make sure that you are using the same profile

Unless he was on emunand. He doesn't mention he is of course. Just saying. He mentions backing up the nand. Asking him to confirm.

@XV3rsus are you using emunand or have you always been using the sysnand? It's also very possible that if you are using exFAT something caused corruption on the SD.

I have only one profile :cautious:

My SD card is formatted in ExFat to be able to put XCI over 4GB without cutting it, but responsible for any SD corruption.
Instead, as far as EmuNAND and SysNAND are concerned, I am not very informed on the subject so I can't answer you. I can tell you though that I always use the SX OS CFW and never the OFW, I didn't do any particular operations but only what is written in the SX Pro guide. If I could not answer your question if you could kindly explain the difference to me so I can give you the right answer. Thank you for your reply

Nope that answers it. It sounds like you do not use emunand then. The saves should not have gotten deleted from anything you did listed about. I would say that corruption is what cause you to lose your saves.

Do you install your XCI backups or just mount them?

No, I download the XCI files, put them in the SD card, open the gallery of the Switch, mount the game and open it from the main menu. However, as I understand it I will not be able to recover them also because I checked Checkpoint and I no longer see the rescues .. What would you recommend me to do? Is there any way to recover them by making some attempts? I await your answer because I should update my girlfriend's Switch and I wouldn't want it to happen to her too ..
PS: I was thinking of downloading NSP files, including updates and DLC so as to flash them via SX Server and Installer by enabling Wi Fi, so I won't be returning to the original Switch anymore

EDIT:
Maybe I understood what happened .. when I updated SX OS to v2.6.1 I noticed that the writing EmuNAND enabled on Boot Custom FW had disappeared when SX OS was started. But now that I think about it, after having done the Emunand after installing SX OS for the first time I remember removing it from the SD card because being a backup I thought I'd keep it on the PC. I have never had problems, however, with rescues, except when I made the SX OS update, losing everything, backing up later when it was too late.
Having said this, what do you think happened? Can you explain to me what is the backup of the NAND and the EmuNAND? Because maybe I made a bit of confusion .. and if one of the two can hit something for the loss of bailouts ..
I apologize very much if I ask too many questions or I am not very informed but in Italy no youtuber or user has brought this product and knowing very little the English language I find it hard to understand everything :cautious:
My id on Discord is "V3rsus" if by chance someone wanted start a discussion with me to explain briefly what situation I have with my files and what should I do, I am very grateful, before I block the Switch:p

If you boot SX with "EmuNAND disabled" when you play game and save, the save store in sysNAND.

If you boot SX with "EmuNAND enabled" when you play game and save, the save store in EmuNAND.
There are 3 types on EmuNAND which are:
1. hidden partition on microsd
2. files on micro sd (\sxos\emunand which contains boot0.bin, boot1.bin, full.00.bin to full.07.bin files
3. convert part of sysNAND and store EmuNAND

So it depends on where your save are stored.
For example, if you always boot to EmuNAND to play game and you delete this EmuNAND without backup.
All the saves on this EmuNAND are gone for good.

Now maybe I understand .. but speaking concretely, at the moment with Checkpoint I no longer see the game saves, I tried to restore a backup of the NAND (sxos\backup\) but the saves didn't come out. So they will have been deleted because I no longer have the sxos emunand folder and the one I saved in the PC is old. I simply swapped the NAND backup (sxos\backup\) with the emunand (sxos\emunand\).
The problem is that now I would like to understand in what situation I am because I would not like to create an emunand again and join the rescues on this and on the sysnand as it is currently. Could you write me on Discord to help me clean up? Thanks in advance!
PS: Anyway, I think it really went like this because, thinking about it, I only had the games saved where I had a physical card and then I kept playing them with XCI files. Therefore those who remained in the sysnand were not lost and those who were in the emunand yes. So now I don't know how to merge everyone in the sysnand and continue from there or start with emunand.
