Lost my licence file and key

Hi,

Sorry to disturb you in such a dificult period but i had to reset my pc and I was changing my SD card, but i totally forgot to save those files.
I can give you my console fingerprint so you can see that I bought SX OS.

If you use the SX Pro dongle, just make a new license request file and upload to get the license.dat
If you used a code sent from your reseller, then there is nothing else to do than buy a new one

Why can't we simply send our console fingerprints on the sx os website to retrieve the code? it is in their database! I payed to support the team.
I really love SX OS and that's why i payed 2 years ago! it's almost impossible for me who lives in belgium to buy a lisense again, all the online stores have been taken down and i do not want to be scammed. There's nothing else to do?

if you changed MicroSD card, the files should still be in your old MicroSD
or maybe check your old emails for the license code if you are not using the SX Pro Dongle

I agree with the OP.
Sometimes sh*t does happen for real and the seller, you would think he would want to be inclined to help their valued customers as much as possible.
I just bought my license from a reseller because of the payment providers selection when purchasing. Come to think about it, they are all resellers correct? Or do you physically sell the dongles and licenses from TX website?
So it sounds like to me the Pro Dongle is their database?

Yeah!!!! and i do not understand why can't we simply connect our switch to internet and do a license check with the trial sotware!

All good ideas, but we don't have control over that as staff of the forum unfortunately. I don't see anywhere where you said if you were using SX pro or you had just bought a license? If you just bought a code, unless you delete all your emails permanently all the time, the code should still be in your email. If it's the SX Pro you bought then the license is on the dongle and can just be "activated" again to get a new license file.

Also have you tried any software on your computer to recover the SD card? I'd suggest after getting this sorted to make sure you back the license code and file up some where, so you have copies.
