Hiya guys,
Just need a bit more help to finish off this Falcon motherboard 360 i got that was suffering from the "Christmas Tree Lights Error".
I managed to get 2x perfect matching Nand dumps from the board a couple of weeks ago and got Xell wrote to the Nand.I then awaited the arrival of the Coolrunner cr3 Lite from my friend.
Without thinking though i went and accidently deleted/lost the 2x original nand dumps from my computer ( i know, pretty damn stupid of me to say the least )
I've managed to get the board to boot into Xell ( RGH2 setup, which manages to boot into Xell in about 30 seconds, which i think is pretty good, considering it's a Falcon board and done on RGH2 )
I also know that this board will never be able to run a stock nand anymore, which is fine by me to keep it with a hacked image but all i need to know now,is do i just flash a hacked dashboard onto the Nand or do i need to do anything else in order to finish the board and get it to boot to the hacked dashboard ?
Thanks guys, any help would be awsome from you :)

If you can't find any of the original NAND dumps, you can use donor files to build a glitch2 image.

You will need to use the KV (in decrypted state) and SMC Config from a donor NAND.

You can get clean SMC files here (rename falcon.bin to SMC.bin).

You say you have xell written to the nand, was this created using your original nand dumps? If it is then it contains everything needed to create a working retail image. Otherwise do as suggested and use a donor nand.

Or you could just install FSD and Xexmenu from a USB and dump the nand from there.

How do you install FSD or xexmenu in Xell? And please explain how to dump your lost nand when you have xell flashed to it.

Yes,Xell was created from the original nand dump and then written to the nand.
I can boot the console into Xell no problem at all, this gives me my DVD & CPU Keys, which display on my TV screen

Antalpromille, that link you've posted,it does the same for a hacked image i presume ( as i was informed that due to Microshite have crippled the nand on the board previous,as it has a Service date on the rear of the casing instead of a manufacter date ) that any Xbox 360 with a crippled nand will not be able to run a stock/retail nand ever again.
Like i said at the beginning of my post,i'm quite happy for this Falcon to permanetly run a hacked image/dash.

Yes you can create a glitch image the same way, but since your current nand probably contains your KV it's better to get retail working first (and you will have a working backup then).

Dont forget about fuse line 2, which tells you the cb version and which dashboard to create. this is very important for building a stock nand image.

in the advanced menu, there is an option to change ldv. click that and enter 11. then copy the clean falcon smc to the xebuild directory in j-runner folder, and build retail nand out of the nand image on your console for 14719. This should get you a working retail image. Then you can use that image to create a rgh2/jtag/rgh2+ image.
