ANSWERED lost original nand dumps, rewritten with ecc paches

It has to be a Falcon, but yes you should be able to do that. I used multi-builder to create my hacked image using my CPU key, LDV value (you can look it up in Xell by counting the numbfder of "f"'s on lines 6 and 7 (I think it's 6 and 7) in your fuse set), and the donor nand.

You can do this with a donor NAND but you count the number of Fs on fuse-set lines 7 and 8 to get the LDV .

He doesn't have the hacked image nand, only the ecc nand. Unless I misunderstand what the issue is. You can't create an image from an ecc nand.

You can't create retail from ecc nand, I misread that step. Sorry for that.

However, using Multibuilder or J-Runner should allow you to create a hacked image from ecc nand, as long you set the LDV manually (f-s from line 7 and 8 in Xell).

LE: OP, did you try to continue to create a hacked image from your dumps? The error you mention apears if you misplaced the files (nanddump and cpukey - but using J-Runner should take care of that), wrong CPU Key, or trying to create retail from ecc image.

anyway. you guys keep telling me to make an image from the ecc-pached nanddumps and keep telling you that j-runner is not letting me. i got all the files in one folder (the dumps the cpu key, etc.) and it's giving me the error i showed you. we're going in a bit of a circle here....

the output rar is the second set of dumps i took, they mach. the numbered rar is all the info i have on the console and the nanddumps in it but these are the ones that don't match. well see for yourselves

That's because I think they're wrong. As I mentioned, I had the same issue you're having. I had to end up building it from a donor nand with my cpu key and my ldv since I had them.

If they dont get you sorted out today, send me a PM and I will send you a donor nand. I used multi builder to rebuild the hacked nand, I'm sure J-Runner can do it, I just couldnt figure it out.

So what was it? Building from another ecc nand works (at least for a Trinity), but not for your ecc nand. Don't know why.

Did you use donor nand in the end or you managed to create an image from yours?

I was able to salvage his keyvault from his dump and managed to decrypt it. Then I used a donor SMC and smc_config from a Falcon retail image. I fed these 3 files to xebuild and generated a glitch and retail image for him.
