Lost Original nand? RROD JTAG ATTEMPT

Alright, I sent my PRE NXE xbox to a jtagger and we got into a fight leading to him returning it RROD..

its a zephyr mobo i extracted the nand and he upgraded it to 9199 no xell no video no dash...

i have the 9199 nand, he also sent me a kv he says is from the consoles original becuase he got xell on but nothing else...
Is there any chance of creating a original and flashing it back using a donar nand ? any help will be great thanks

when you say upgraded to 9199, i hope you mean via freeboot image? Otherwise the efuse would have been blown and no longer jtaggable?

no, freeboot image 9199 is installed problem is i lost my original nand and i beleive the cb is not exploitable thats why i need a original made if possible

its hard to explain i have a kv_dec and kv_enc and i am told that they are from the xbox but unsure they dates and serial look like a match ... also i have freeboot 9199 installed but its rrod 0022 no video no xell nothing I want to make a original and write it back is that possible?

your best bet is to wait for someone like "Manwithoutaname" to answer this, not something I have done in the past.

but sounds like your jtagger could have casued the issue, see description below

Description:This error is caused by a bridged/shorting solder joint under the GPU, (H)ANA-chip or in between.It can also be power related though, for example if you are drawing power from one of the regulators that power the GPU and HANA-chip.Can also be a component that is missing or damaged so look for missing parts near the GPU and the HANA chip. In extremely rare cases it might also be related to the lines that lead from HANA to the CPU.
The chances are however higher that it is the GPU than the HANA chip so you should always first concentrate on the GPU.
Another cause could be due to a broken trace under the board near one of the ram blocks, check the picture in the reference section.

It sounds like it's not exploitable and flashed with freeboot. What mother board it is, what is the MFR date, what dash did it have on it when you sent it away, give more details about the console and any relative history.

Basically there are 2 options here since the original NAND is no longer available:

1. Try flashing xell and getting it to boot into it if there is any possibility of the console been exploitable

2. Try different types of original NAND's to boot the console onto it's standard original dash. These is going to be hard as we don't know what dash & CB revision it is and so will have to be a trial and error but knowing the board type should lower the range.

Guy, its hard to say becuase this jtagger sent it back rrod in a different case i beleive also the nand installed currently is 4558 and thats exploitable but the last few emails he was complaining about 4xxx CB so i think he just threw a nand in and sent it back Bah Its okay Ill just take my anger and my trusty sledgehammer outside and smash away that will make it worth every penny i lost ! some zephyr's have falcon smc if it boots xell then it's exploitable so write just xell to the box if that boots you're good to go

when making the fw image use falcon option instead of zephyr

Y not read the nand that he wrote to console im betting he swapped your whole xbox tho did u happen to write down the original serial number to your xbox?
