Version 1.5 box, new X3 chip, everything was fine, lost power during erase portion of flash operation. Box will boot to M$ dash by holding power on button, but obviously will not boot to mod chip Flashbios. What can I do at this point? Thanks

I would set the switches on the front to the bank I want to flash http://www.teamxecuter.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=19111, then boot to the Backup Bios by pressing both the Power and Eject buttons at the same time. The X3 logo should either turn "purple" then blue, or maybe stay "purple" Mine just turns "purple" for a couple of seconds, then turns blue. Then choose the option that is right for you. Personally, I have only done the HTTP method.

I hope this helps.

Hey Jasn-

Thanks, I totally spaced the existence of the back up Bios boot capability. I was still unable to flash Bank 1, it acted as if i had flash protect enabled, which I did not. Possibly due to the partial erasure from when my power went out?? (snowing here...)

But I was able to flash Bank 2 with no probs, so everything is cool.
Thanks again

Re: THIS IS DRIVING ME BONKERS

do the fans spin up inside the xbox when you turn it on, also did you ground your xbox case to your computer case when you were powering the drive, all the tuts tell you to but the majority of people dont, although its fine in most cases you can power surge your xbox if its not grounded, a friend of mine has this happen a while back but not like what your having, his would just eject the drive as soon as it was connected, was deffiatly a problem with the motherboard as the drive was totally fine, if the fans spin up try another drive in your console and see if it will play dvds as it obviously wont play games without the drive key off your 9 series liteon

Re: THIS IS DRIVING ME BONKERS

if you cut the board, it worked than then stopped working, odds are your soldering job went bad

redo your solder points or your "conductive paste" job
