lost resistor

if you pick up a standard 33ohm 1/8w (or 1/2w) resistor from any electronic wholesaler and bridge from before the resistor and after the resistor (CHIP SIDE), scratch the solder resist off of the track and bypass the resistor and any tracking you lifted/broke. pretty much duplicate the circuit from before.

A customer brought a Xbox into me with the exact same issue which i still have (he hasnt paid) I can take a picture of the board if want to see what i did (it will have to be in 10 hours time, im at home)

If the pads are still there I would replace it with an SMD resistor. I find the regular through hole resistors look tacky an almost bodged. Where are you located as I have repaired these before.

Thanks for the advice on the 33ohm resistor, that seemed to do the trick. I still had problems, but after lots of testing, i figured out my original nand restore was not correct, following a tut i used +w and it didn't write it back correctly, so i tried with -w and now it works.. Thanks!!!
