LPC rebuild I know I saw it somewhere

Along with the chips comes the lpc rebuild kit so you don't have to do the wire rebuild, I know I saw a site where it showed how it was installed and I can't find it for the life of me now not that important but this is bugging me now someone see it let me know please and thanks in advance

PLEASE HELP, LITE ON SHORTED OUT??????

so I got my new probe v2. in the mail today, get ready to flash my 7450c with it, I put my probe down on the r707. A bit of smoke comes out from It, and the ck3 shuts off.

NOw whenever I plug the drive in , the ck3 wont stay on, it immedieately cuts off. What can I do?

so I did some reading and I assume my problem is that I shorted out the mosfet next to the r707. Can someone with experience please confirm this

I had a similar situation happen on a 93450 drive that I had performed the trace cuts on. Sounds like you shorted out your drive board as I did. The ck3 should be fine once connected to another drive, or at least mine was. Lucky for me I got the DVD key before it shorted out so I was able to replace drive and xbox is working fine. Unfortunately for you is you didnt get your key I take it.
Not good. Not sure what to tell you unless somone on here can help you get that drive back up. Hope this helped clarify....

I was hopining their would be something I could do but apparently not. I just dont want this to happen to another drive!!!!

What am I supposed to do so that this doesnt happen, Do i just need to make sure it doesnt touch anything except the hole?

forget probe 2 - Use PMT method - much easier - no soldering.
