Most of us started with LPT, and on a 16mb NAND I wasnt too fussed, then came USB hardware that took the 35mins to around 5-10 mins.....then came the nandx and TBH it's a great piece of kit and fast :)

But if all you have is LPT then wait it out it never let me down :)

I noticed that using jtag tool just about doubles the read/write time when using a parallel connection. Use nandpro by itself to get the best results but it will still take a long time.

So you decided NOT to follow my instructions on how to best do this?

Fair enough - on your head be it.

For 16mb hands its 3FF

I think 512mb is like 3FFF or something.

LPTs are sooo slow though. If you are doing more than one install, you should look into a nandx.
256mb is 3FFF
Took me forever to read those, and i got an error with one so i had to reread -__-

Then i found out later on that you only need the first 64mb (might be 66mb) of the nand. I waisted SO MUCH time! and i wasnt using a nand x, nand x is fast! great investment!

Just buy a nand-x.

It's great for reading/writing nand's and programming coolrunners.

If you don't want to spend money for decent equipment don't come and complain about waiting forever
