Ok so I can't programm the coolrunner through the NAND x, as it's not V3, but I have got a LPT jtag lead too, when I plug it in thou I only get the red light coming on NOT the green the? What's up with it?

Really!! Lol done that but when using jtag tool to flash and I'm clicking on LPT the dos window comes up says it's looking for USB? Then fails?
You shouldn't be using JTAG tool to program your CR. You need to use iMAPCT for that.
