I have a 2 part question. 1) is there a LT+2.0 firmware for Hitachi drives because i cant seem to find it. 2) is there any tutorials on how to use a laptop to flash? I have an HP dv-7, x360usb pro, ck3 lite, and probe 3.
You could use the usb pro or buy a pcmcia via6421 card if you have a pcmcia port. If you have an express card port, you need an express to pcmica adapter.
Its better to get a USBPRO (Less hassle) but I flash with my pcmcia set everytime and it works just fine.
Thats all you will need, providing youve set up the software for the uxbpro you should be set to go, agian follow the link i said earlier and follow it to the letter and youll have no problems. If you need to know how to in stall the x360uxbpro, go to their website and all the instructions are there.
The release of the x360usbpro made it really easy for the people with laptops as it uses the usb function rather than the via cards. I used to use my laptop and its really easy.
