LITEON 83850 v1 LT+ 2.0 & System Update Inquiry

Hey so let me give you guys a breakdown on what happened:

- iXtreme1.6 was the firmware on the system
- Did PMT got the Key and put on LT+ 2.0

Forgot about the System Update and so did the system update and re did the PMT / LT+ 2.0

Everything works except for any XGD3 disc.

Questions:
Am I possibly burning the XGD3 discs incorrectly?
Or did my method above screw things up?
Is it true I have to use the stock firmware in the (post) folder and use the 250 for the CFM?

Are you on 0251c lt2.0 for sure or did you accidentally let it autoload to lt1.1 from your old dump when the drive was 83450?

how about a jf log , and how did you burn the xgd3 backups

@vegaslightsss I got the KEY and selected target firmware manually then spoofed it.

Stock Firmware path: LiteOn (Phat)\LiteOn_Pre_13141\orig-83850C.bin

Then put on the CFM: LTPlus-838v1.1.bin

Then decided to update the system, which whiped the modd out so I redid the steps above.


@talby71 - I always save the jlog.... except for this time =[

I will remodd and show you guys if you want with the same steps above but my current DASH is: 136 [latest]

- As for backups just followed the instructions.
- Optimal Setting was selected, layerbreak was right on the .dvd file.
- Hit Write
- Errors came up, followed the error methods & that was it.

The LT+ 2.0 firmware download pack contains the latest firmware for 83850c right? Not sure why everything else works except for the a newer backup.

Reflash 2.0 again but SELECT 2.0 yourself and dont let jf do it for you.

because you have updated your dash your liteon is now a liteon 02510C

you have flashed it with 1.1, you need the jf 1.89 and the the latest ixtreme firmware package. you need to flash it with LTPlus-025-v2.0.bin.

Yup, always do it manually, I dont have it in the folder for JF to autoload

I read that up somewhere, but thought that was only for a particular drive.

So Im going to have to throw on the Post stock firmware then flash it with the LTPlus-025-v2.0.bin?

I have another liteon xbox, so would that be the same thing? Just update to new dashboard, flash to post stock firmware and then to LTPlus-025-v2.0.bin?

you flash to stock BEFORE updating
which stock you flash it too depends whether your dash is pre 13146 or not
once your dash is past 13146 ALL phat liteon drives become 02510C
and keep your JF log so if mistakes are made you can look at them and check them !

Put post stock firmware and re-flashed with 025 CFM LT+2.0 and we are good to go!
