Hi guys. Just looking for a bit of guidance really.
I have an Hitachi 79 which has LT2.0. Recently downloaded the LT3 files and read that you need to use the free flash option.
I've flashed a few drives including benq, phat liteons and hitachis but never used this option so just want to double check.
I use a ck3 pro to power the drive. Connect to my pc motherboard and all works fine. My only issue is that after ive loaded the new lt3 for my drive as target and spoofed to source . I get a warning before free flashing telling me there is "one key difference" .
Is this normal? The drive flashed fine but because JF said there was a difference I didn't want to risk putting it in my console and flagging my console or anything and I reverted to my previous 2.0 bin.
I also noticed that JF said that the fw was still 2.0 when I'd selected the 3.0 file, but I'm assuming that's because JF doesn't yet support it?
