LT+ is definetely not compatible with all drives, then. Guess this will be addressed eventually, if enough people report the problem...

Current LT+ works on all Liteon drives for fat xboxs.
It also works for Benq drives from fat xboxs.

If you fall into the two categories and your having problems, you've probably done something wrong.

Hi,

I would like to ask if anybody knows how we can make the AP2.5 Patches ourselves, because I have the Australian PAL version of AC:Brotherhood (not the Region Free version), and I can't get my version to work with the RF AP2.5 Patch, which is due to the fact that my version is PAL.

So I would like to make the patch myself, but I don't know how. :(

My xbox has a benq drive, also has been flashed with LT+ and have tried several times play ACB, (so far wasted 3 discs,) but I keep getting a black screen caused by LT+ not letting my backed-up copy boot.

I've included my abgx360 log below which has the RF Patch applied to it,

any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

I don't quite understand. But this is what I can tell you.
To play ap25 games, you need firmware that plays ap25.
The ap25 firmware is the official release. I would never use a firmware from an un-trusted source. Always get it straight from the horses mouth.

Non ap25 games probably work for a number of reasons.
The first being that it'll be firmware that plays backup games.

For example if I posted a link now to a firmware and called it LT+, you'd all go and download it. However, I'd play a little trick on you because the file would be LT 1 or 1.1.
So to the people who have flashed drives getting the firmware from a non recommend source, I would suggest getting it from the right place and flashing again. This would rule out that potential problem.

Then the next issue is all the knobheads trying to patch their games with ppfomatic which was a method used really short term, will the abgx GUI was being updated and released in the current version 1.0.4.

Then there's a load more knobheads who are burning ap25 games and bitching they don't work, while they haven't even updated their drives firmware to LT+. ****ing genius.

Then there's the knobheads who have downloaded a game which isn't region free and they are trying to patch it but there are no patch files, so they burn it anyway, it doesn't work and they bitch about the firmware.

If people did things properly and followed simple instructions, then there would be no problems, except they don't. Little boys in bedrooms ****ing about with stuff they dont have the first idea of what to do.

99% of all problems on this forum ate from user error. Fact.
People lie or don't give enough information because really they know in the back of their mind they ****ed up but don't want to look like noobs and hope we can wave a magic wand and fix it.

Fact - if you have an original liteon or Benq drive from a fat xbox then LT+ works. If your games are good, then LT+ works.
If your laser and other hardware is good, LT+ works.

It's very simple. I've updated a 'few' drives this week, what do you know? They all work.

(sorry i'm french) hi the patch don't work with my fable 3 it's region free but the language in the iso it's just french, can i create an ap2.5 patch for this game pressing ? (we have test on more release and the patch work just for the english-us fable) thanks, (my xbox is on LT+),Apparently the patch ap2.5 don't work on all french fable (dump or downloaded)

Monster im hearing you loud and clear but my issue is straight forward i know it isnt the burn because it works on my series 9 lite on but not my series 7 so therefore : 1. i have a bad lite on v7 flash - unlikely 2. my series 7 lite on drive is how do i say ****ed lol

Flash it again buddy. It works, what can I tell you?
Post a screen shot of what it looks like when you load your game into the 7 series. If its just black screen, dont bother, just says its black.
I did a 7 series at 8.30 last night. It works.

If you want to try a different liteon, then you can, maybe its your drive, but very unlikely.

If its region free but the french version you still need the corresponding patch. Tbh I dont get this AP2.5 stuff because I had a guy that was happly playing AP2.5 games on hit Liteon 7 series with the new dash without LT+. I dont know how but somehow it was booting them, situations seem to vary from drive to drive. It either this rare situation or your laser, does it say "play dvd" when you put the disk in?

Ok, I'll try one more time. Turn the radio off, stop looking at p*rn and try to concentrate.
Abgx has a Region free patch in its database. Thats good for people who have the region free game.
YOU dont have a region free game. YOU have a French game.
If Abgx ever put a patch in their database for the french Game you have then you will be able to patch it.

Maybe he was booting it with activate iso, maybe he was on the beta release of the dash, maybe he wasnt telling the truth. Either way, his box if flagged for a ban.
LT+ protects your from getting a ban, by not booting games which are not AP25 patched, as well as making AP25 games playable.

So without a tool to extract AP25 from our ORIGINAL GAMES we can't play anymore a local version of any game!

In ABGX360 databse there isn't a single Italian Version of any game so you are telling to us that we will not play anymore a single Local Game with this firmware cause in ABGX360 database the local version of Fable III will never appear!:eek:
