Can I flash my BenQ drive with LT+ v1.91 if the console dashboard is on 2.0.12625.0 or will I need to update the console to the very latest dashboard first? (I don't use Xbox live on this console)

Thanks

always best to update to latest dash before flashing, u can download onto usb stick if you do not wish to connect to live, if you use pre dash alot of newer games are being shipped with latest dash update on

best thing to do flash your drive back to stock, update the dash to the latest dash which will also overwrite your drives fw for xgd3 then flash 1,91. jobs a goodun

if your xbox is banned then no need to go back to stock just download the latest dash update from xbox.com then install from cd or usb pen drive then flash 1.91

tbh it pointless flashing 1.91 without updating your dash because a lot of the new games coming out will force you to update the dash before you can play them anyway. dead island being the perfect example

guys - have a read of c4eva's site :)

LT+ v1.1RELEASEDThis version is safe with all dashboards up to 2.0.12625.0 – Not deemed live-safe with dashes newer than this.

LT+ v1.9RELEASEDThis version is for dashboard version 2.0.13146.0 – It supports XGD3 originals, but not XGD3 backups.

LT+ v1.91RELEASEDThis version is for dashboard version 2.0.13599.0 – It is based on the latest firmware as updated by the recent dashboard update. The stock firmware version should now be 04421C. It supports XGD3 originals, but not XGD3 backups. It also supports the new AP2.6 checks however there is no longer any protection against bad/incorrect burns with older patches so MAKE SURE your burns are patched with the latest ABGX. If they are then there is no need to re-burn.
