lt1.1-3.0 stupid question time

I have a jtagged 360 and my dvd drive has 1.1lt firmware (so jungle says) and my drive is a lite on v2

i want to update it to 3.0, but i do not have the dvd key as i paid a man at a computer fair to mod my drive for me..

i have since got the 360usbpro and have tried to sort the drive outmyself but for the life of me i cant do it,, at one stage i broke my drive and had to restore it,, so i am worried that i will break it beyond repair next time :(

i am quite new to this and this is going to be my first drive i am going to try and mod so please be gentle

i have checked the net read the jungle tut over and over looking for a step by step update guide but i cant find one

There are guides for new drives and all the tuts i have found are for 1.1,, but when i specify the 3.0 files i get errors :(

In your Nand
boot to xell to get your drive key then from their its all JungleFlasher to create it. Use original stock firmware for your drive then you can create your dummy bin with your drive key given.

I am in no way a pro at this and as i said i have not got a clue so you lost me at boot in to xell,

i think i have xell on my machine for copying files and stuff,, but i have no idea where my dvd drive key would be,, lol,,i feel so stupid :(

I have xex on my machine not xell,, thinking about this it cost me £60 to get the kit to update my drive,, and the bloke charges £20 to update it for me,,

I just wanted to be able to do it myself :(

mate just flash it like a normal drive if you have usb pro and ck3 etc

yep i have the full kit including the probe, i'll try it as if it was an untoutched drive then :)

just a quick question:

the jungle flasher tut says pop up apears stating: lite-on firmware loaded to source buffer! do you wish to autoload lite on ixtreme,, when i click yest like the tut says it opens 1.1 not 3.0...

then..
On the firmware32 tab in the target i pointed this to the folder that had the 3.0 firmware in it before when i killed my drive

di i do this right?

do i have to put the firmware in the firmware folder? atm its in a seperate dir,, i'll move it if it makes it work,,let me know as i am at that point

when i clicked open target firmware and selected lt-liteon-0800-v3.bin i got an warning saying: 0800 f/w should not be used in console, it is for external use only,, this is where i cocked up before :(

in the firmware type it always says lt plus 1.1,, do i point this by clicking open target firmware to the new 3.0 firmware or do i leave it alone and continue?

yep i am running 1.92 and i have a liteon dg-16d2s

and the latest firmware pack i downloaded was from ixtreme.net and is Latest_iXtreme_and_Stock_Firmware_Pack.rar
