lt1.1-3.0 stupid question time

i still can not flash with the lt 3.0 firmware, someone must be able to give me a step by step guide,, there is no guide anywhere on the net that gives you a step by step guide on flashing a jtagged consoles drive with the latest firmware,, on all the guides i get as far as auto load lt firmware,, it always points to 1.1,,

so these are the steps where it all goes wrong..

1, auto load lt firmware, click yes or no,, it dosent matter how i do it...

2, i click open target firmware and point it to ltplus-0251-v3.0.bin

3, i click spoof source to target so the dvd keys are the same,

4, i click the mtkflash32 tab, click lite on erase, click yes, and yes again,

5, then click 'write'

then i get an error, unknown flash type write aborted,,,so i have to go back, and get my drive back to its original settings so at least i can still use the drive,,

SORTED!!!!!!!

4, i click the mtkflash32 tab, click lite on erase, click yes, and yes again,

5, You should now click 'intro/device id' and power the drive off and on when prompted!!

6, then then click 'write'

Then splice my sausages,, it bloody works!

Sounds like your not getting the right drive properties.

First load lt+3.0 and spoof the dvd key over

Got to mtk tab and click lite on erase. U want the properties to say 0x72

Now click write and it should be good
