Lt3 & DB update questions

Hi,

I have this Slim with lite-on 9504(0272) MXIC modded with Russian hack few years ago.
It's got LT-2 and whatever the latest DB at that time.
Now I am thinking to update it to the latest DB(17489 as of today) and LT-3.
I am going to put stock FW back to the box and update the DB with usb drive,
then unlock it again with the same Russian hack method and write LT-3 to it then lock it.
My question is that during the process, will I be able to unlock it and write LT-3 to it once I have updated the DB to 17489?

Yes u can use the Sputnik method to unlock it.

9504, 0225 and 0401.

After the 2.0.13146.0 System Update the 9504 became 0272 (the 9504 was the only version at this stage that could be written to)

The 0225 and 0401 have the write protection enabled so they were not updated.

After the 2.0.13599.0 System Update the 0272 had its write protection enabled.

So now you have 3 firmware versions of the same drive all with write protection enabled.

now I know that it can still be unlocked even with those DB applied.
